![]() This wooden robot table lamp was a commissioned gift for the holidays. A.S.H was made from scrapped garden branches and loose hardware bits. The leaf in the magical crystal ball is a leaf left behind in a Victor Hugo book by a deceased relative. This piece was meant to pay homage to the special person behind the carefully preserved leaf. | ![]() This upcycled planet night light was also a commissioned gift made from paper pulp. Seth was believed to be the guardian of the underworld in ancient egypt. These upcycled Japanese paper mache daruma dolls. These traditional dolls are a symbol of good fortune and wishes to be granted. The left pupil is drawn in when a wish is made, and the right pupil is drawn in when the wish is fulfilled. The dolls gaze will forever guide you forward and with a weighted plaster vase they are in fact tumbler dolls - never able to fall down without standing right back up! |

He stayed in our Beirut based studio for many years :) | ![]() The Sleepy Dragon Inn is a shadow puppet theater that is played out as an analog video game in which the shadow puppet characters have to find creative ways to escape Rover, the evil inn keeper... But little do the players know that Rover has secret traps set up all around the premises! This participatory workshop was created for the Sursock Museum's family program in conjunction with the "Fabrik" exhibition showcased and inspired from Hito Steryl's "Factory of the Sun" video installation. |
